Angel: Finding an apartment rental in Venice has become quite easy in recent years. Indeed, many owners prefer to rent to tourists rather than locals for obvious profitability reasons. During Venice’s carnival season, it’s best to book well in advance to take advantage of the best apartments and the best prices. If you decide to rent an apartment in Venice at the last minute, be aware that only unsold properties will remain, and they will still be rented at a premium.

Oriane: Renting an apartment in Venice allows you to stay with your family or group in the same space, rather than in several hotel rooms, or even several different hotels in Venice, and to be able to prepare at least breakfast at the apartment, or even dinner, so as to avoid spending too much at the restaurant.
Angel: The main criteria to consider in your choice are: the number of people and the number of rooms, the neighborhood ( San marco, Cannaregio, Dorsoduro, San Polo, Castello, Giudecca) and proximity to a vaporetto pier, a supermarket, the quality of bedding, and equipment (washing machine, air conditioning), the Venetian pluses (canal view, balcony, altane), reception hours and whether pets are allowed.
